Max joined the Lego Mindstorms robotics team at school this year. They competed in the Alabama South Central Regional Technology Fair held at Auburn University-Montgomery. His team was awarded 2nd place for their robot, WALL-E Tron 2009. The students participating in the competition were also given the opportunity to compete in an Information Technology exam and Max came in 3rd in his age division. The two students who won 1st and 2nd place both attend a local technology magnet school.
