Today was yet another baseball game that did not turn out in our team’s favor. Desmond did pitch for the first four innings, and although the opposing team scored, he had some strike-outs and even a few innings with 4 up and 3 down pretty quickly. He had a tough time getting on base, though. But, it is time that Des and Dan get to spend together, especially when Dan is coaching first base. It is great for Des to have his dad there to encourage him, keep him energized, give him constructive criticism, and just be a shoulder to lean on when he needs one.
