Today was Max's first 5th grade Honor's Day Program. He was recognized for receiving all A's for the first 9-week period and for meeting his Accelerated Reader goals (he actually reached enough for twice his goal -- I think they need to re-evaluate his goal!). Our friend, Zena, from church was also recognized at the program. I gave her mom a ride since she is currently unable to drive due to an injury. After the program, we took all the kids (Max, Zena, and Desmond) to McDonald's to celebrate that they ALL made all A's on their report cards. Miss Debbie treated us all to ice cream!
