Today was the first day of Dixie League Baseball 2009. This year Desmond moved up to the 7-8 year old league and is playing on the SkateZone team with Coach Sam. He is starting out playing 3rd base, hitting first in the line up, and is wearing the #1 jersey:)
The team played great today, although it was not Desi's best day (struck out twice!). But, he is a trooper and cheered his teammates on with gusto. They won against the White Sox 7-2.
