I knew we had a bee problem, but this was not exactly what I expected. Part of the reason we are having our chimney removed is because we have had such a hard time getting rid of bees that want to make our soffit their home. We had a hive removed a few years ago, but a new hive has moved in. This is what was found when the soffit was opened. Too bad the honey was inedible -- the only way we could make it safe enough to take the hive out was with chemicals that are not exactly healthy for humans.

Unbelievable!! If I didn't see the pictures I wouldn't have believed a honeycomb that huge!
Wow! I had no idea this could be such a problem. I hope they don't take up residence at our place!!
