Tonight we celebrated the high school graduation of our oldest and only daughter, Lauren. It was an exciting night that we began by having dinner at one of her favorite restaurants, Casa Napoli. Grandma Mary Jo, friends Vicki and Mandi Jackson, and Desi's other mother (Shannon) and uncle all joined us there. Shannon and her brother then took Desi to his last baseball game (he chose that over graduation...go figure) while Mandi joined us while her mom returned home to care for her dad who had surgery earlier today.

We learned today that Lauren graduated #3 in her class! Then, as has been her luck for the past 13 years of school, she was the first to walk across and receive her diploma since her last name is Adam.

We ended our night with a stop at Krispy Kreme for donuts and milk.
