My brother, Dave, and his wife, Nancy, invited us to spend Thanksgiving with them at their home outside of Charlotte, North Carolina this year. We drove up on Wednesday and, after enduring the wonderful (not) holiday traffic through Atlanta, we arrived around 10 pm. This was our first visit with Dave and his family since they moved into their new home in the Weddington area. My older brother, Clay, and his family as well as my mother and her husband also joined us in celebrating. Dave and Nancy, along with Nancy's parents who live with them, were wonderful hosts for the occasion.
I am truly blessed and very thankful for all of my family.
