It was the day Lauren has waited on for going on 8 years since she read her first Harry Potter book. Book 7, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, became available just after midnight last night. About a week ago, she read in our local paper that our little local bookstore, The Book Basket, was going to have a party starting at 10 pm with snacks, trivia games, and a visit from Hagrid. Anyone who pre-ordered their book from the store would be invited, so we had to make a stop and pre-order our book, ya' know. 
We invited our friend, Jean, and her family to join us.
It is amazing what you will do for your children.
