This was Max's first time going away to camp and, boy, did he have a great time! We met his den members and leaders Friday morning at 7 at Wal-Mart where they packed the boys up and headed to Camp Hobbs over near Prattville. The theme was "Knights of Hobbs Forest". The boys forged their own armor, tried jousting, fished and canoed in the lake, as well as earning several badges (geologist, scientist, craftsman, sportsman, showman and aquanaut). They even had the opportunity to shoot BB guns and have archery competitions as they trained to prepare for "The Quest". Dan and I met him for lunch this afternoon to end up the weekend.

wacky webelos wanderings...
