tourney champs

The Yankees had their final game of the tournament tonight. They have been undefeated throughout this tournament and, if they won the 6:00 pm game, they would be champions. If they lost, they would have to play a second game against the same team (Colonial Bank) and that game would determine the tournament champions. Once again, the Yankees' talent showered over the game. They ended up winning the game in the third inning 14-7. Their half of that inning was cut short, not by outs but by reaching the 9 run limit for an inning. Once they got into their 'swing', it just did not stop. During the first inning, every single player had a chance at the bat. Amazing. Desmond ended up with three times up at bat. He made two runs and was left on base during the second inning.

What a wonderful way to end the season. Go Yankees!
