It is hard to believe that these yellow pansies have lasted so long, especially since I haven’t watered them at all. They have just drink up whatever comes with the rains. I hope they stay awhile.
My best friend, Barb, and I had lunch today and then had a quick shopping trip to find a few flowers to start adding to my back patio area (we also threw in a rapid run through Winn Dixie for some groceries!).
The white petunias and purple verbena are new, along with the yellow lantana. I do wish I could remember the name of these cute white-tipped pink flowers, though. They are a perennial ground cover that I’ve had for a few years. I love how delicate they are, yet so sturdy and seem to make it through the summer and into the fall.
I forgot the name of these last beauties, but they look like little petunias. Maybe Barb will comment and remind me of their name.
I hope to pick up some more flowers to add to the back yard next week:)
"People are like grass; their beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flower fades.
But the word of the Lord remains forever."
