John 1:14; Amos 8:11-12, Psalm 30:8

I've been purified from all unrighteousness. I am no longer THAT .. I am THIS!

The Word became flesh and dwells among us. John 1:14.

1. The WORD - divine reasoning; divine expression. In Amos 8, there was a famine from the Word of God; if we are hyper-religious and don't receive a fresh Word, we turn to elgalism. What is Jesus doing in your life now, not 20 years ago! Some people don't want to be delivere (IS IT ME!). Most people do what they want to. In Psalm 30:8, I delight to do your will, O God. Change the desires of my heart!

2. BECAME FLESH - John 1:14. Jesus is the Son of God. 1 John 4:1-3, Matthew 17:1 (transfiguration)

3. AND MADE HIS DWELLING AMONG US - He pitched his tent, or tabernacle, among us. 2 Corinthians 5:1, Revelation 21:22 ---> HE is now the temple!

4. WE HAVE SEEN HIS GLORY - 1 John 1:1, Isaiah 60:1-2

5. THE GLORY OF THE ONE AND ONLY

6. WHO CAME FROM THE FATHER - John 1:18 -- affections, not just proximity. Jesus is the exegeis of the Father.

7. FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH - John 2 shows the first display of his glory with turning the water into wine.
