Jeremiah 1: Be a spokesman to the world. We are called as disciples. Deny ourselves and follow God! It is not hte desire of God to bring judgement, calamity, or catastrophe; it is the necessity of his character to bring these things when we do not obey.
Ezekiel 14:13 There is protection in the midst of the fire for those who are obedient.
Jeremiah 7:1,11 God brought the truth, but we choose the World. Jeremiah 5:20, 30 False prophets come along and the people love it. What will you do?
1. Break up the fallow ground, the hardness of our soul. Return to God and repent. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts! Jeremiah 4:3
2. Mourn Jeremiah 9:17-18, Ezekial 9
3. Pray passionately, corportely, fervently. Pray for all those in authority. Jeremiah 36:7, 1 Timothy 2
4. Love God's Word Jeremiah 20:7. Love his word above yourself. His word is like a fire burning in my heart. It's a fire in my bones!
5. Love Others as Jesus loved them. Jeremiah 31:3, John 13:34.
6. Introduce people to Jesus Christ. Jeremiah 31:31; a new covenant will come. Jeremiah 33:1,2,9,15,17
7. Rest. On the seventh day, he rested.
