Sometimes I feel corny with my gratitude journalling. Ok, I almost always feel corny with it. But, I am determined to do this for 30 days, come hell or highwater (hopefully neither!).
This day I am grateful for new friends and good pie. Our church congregation began a dinner club this year and tonight was our time at our new friends, the Wards. They were quite the hosts and it was a comfortable and enjoyable time, sitting around the table eating and talking. I am grateful for this opportunity to get to know 3 other couples better.
And Mrs. Ward makes a mean lemon icebox pie.
