A day of blessings to be grateful for today...
First, we were invited (along with the rest of the church staff, spouses, and leaders) for a brunch sponsored/hosted as a gift by a member of the church. We enjoyed good food and a good time of fellowship.
Second, our new friends, the Speers, let our boys play with their boys while we were at the luncheon (which happened to be hosted by the mother of Mrs. Speer). Following the luncheon, Dan and I had a very nice time hanging out with the Speers while the boys continued to play.
Third, we picked up Shannon (Desi's other mom)and all had lunch together before doing some sale shopping (found some cute blouses and a pair of cords).
My blogging is so boring, I know. I wish I were eloquent and witty.
But, I am grateful.

if you had a ton of chaos in your life it would be harder to be grateful. simple and easy is GOOD. and i love when my kids hang with another couple's kids and we get to relax and converse--especially when it's not punctuated by "problems" from the other room!
