spring break?

This is Spring Break for our local school system. That means I get a whole week to spend with my children. I am determined that my boys will not sit in front of a video game all day long. So far, so good. This morning we were blessed with a beautiful day and they played outside until noon when they came in for lunch. Lauren's friend, Mandi, spent the night and they were hidden upstairs on their respective laptops most of the day. When did kids start including laptops with their jammies on spend-the-nights? Boy, the times they sure have changed.

Me? I spent most of my day splitting my time between housework and being a referee to my children. I would love to have just one day with no whining, complaining, and tattle-telling.
