For those of you who do not know already, I have obstructive sleep apnea. I have used a CPAP (continuous positive airflow pressure) machine for several years and replaced my mask this past December. I was very excited to change masks, since my previous mask left unsightly marking on my cheeks for several hours after I removed it when awaking. This new and improved mask had a mouth cover which would allow me not to wear a chin strap (which is a little uncomfortable). So, over the past few months I have worn it thinking all was well. That is, until Dan said that I still snored and that it sounded like I was having apnea episodes.
So, I brought my data card (from my CPAP) to my medical equipment guy only to find out that this mask just didn't work for me. At all. It was horrible...like I was not using a CPAP at all.
Today I got my new mask. I am grateful that he just switched it out with the old one (no extra cost). I am looking forward to a blissful sleep and a much more rested feeling tomorrow.

A decent night's sleep is worth a king's ransom, I say. :)
